Last week we wrote about Leica’s new, uber-exclusive M9-P camera designed with Hermès, and even for appreciators of fine things like us, the $25,000 pricetag was jaw-dropping. In this video, though, the handmade detailing that goes into each camera (edition of 300) goes a long way toward explaining why owning one of these babies requires such a lofty investment.

This limited edition is a celebration of the friendship and collaboration between Jean-Louis Dumas, the former president of Hermès, who died in May 2010, and Leica Camera AG.

UNIQLO Teams Up with Coca-Cola For T-Shirt Collection

UNIQLO and Coca-Cola team up for its annual UT Grand Prix (UTGP) T-Shirt Design Contest. Each year contestants submit their designs to the judging panel comprised of some noted designers and artists in the world. 10 designs are chosen as the winners. The designs are judged based on the inspiration from the brand’s heritage, referencing everything from the contour bottle, signature logo, and historic campaign slogans. T-shirts run for $20.

The overall Grand Prize winner is Karrie Lee (Lee Lai Yan) from Hong Kong. Her design was inspired by her friend who loves to drink Coca-Cola at tea time. Like the British, this is a Hong Kong custom, and is typically enjoyed around 4 p.m.
